Baptisms are celebrated every other month for registered parishioners of St. Philomena. It is recommended that parents begin their preparation prior to the birth of the child. We adhere to the guidelines of the Roman Catholic Church, which may be found at the below link.
The Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist usually occurs in second grade. Adequate faith formation classes are required prior to the celebration of these sacraments. For detailed information please utilize the link below.
Confirmation preparation begins in ninth grade with the reception of the sacrament in eleventh grade. Class information is linked below.
Anointing of the Sick may be requested by immediate family members. Please contact the office or utilize our emergency line after hours.
Reconciliation is offered an hour before Saturday mass or by appointment.
Marriage preparations begin at least six months prior to the wedding ceremony. A date is only reserved once the couple has met with the pastor. Guidelines may be found at the link below.
RCIA and RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults/Children) begins in late August and continues through Pentecost.
